The 10 Books I Read in February

Omg. I can’t believe I have read 10 books. It’s been a while since I’ve dived in to the reading world this deep. I did, however, start a new series so that definitely had something to do with it. I’ll just go right in to it.

1. House of Flame and Shadow by Sarah J Maas

Insane. Two years of waiting and I can’t believe I finished it. Tell me how I didn’t realize how the Crescent City series was a trilogy. I’m not mad about it but wow, didn’t know or probably didn’t remember honestly. This book was so good. There were so dud moments where it felt dragging but those were, max, maybe 3 or 4 points. Overall, the characters and the plot were just amazing. I can’t wait to see what SJM does with this universe.

2. For the Fans by Nyla K.

I saw one video on Instagram and I immediately downloaded it on Kindle Unlimited. It is an MM romance but omg. It was so good. The plot was ok, it did show the struggle of someone coming to terms with their sexuality. The spice though…absolutely amazing. That’s all I’m going to say. Moving on…

For the next batch of books, I’m going to lump eight of them together.

3. – 9. Deviant King, Steel Princess, Twisted Kingdom, Black Knight, Vicious Prince, Ruthless Empire, Royal Elite Epilogue by Rina Kent

I don’t know what drug Rina Kent put in these pages but I couldn’t get enough. For the first three or four books, I was one a day. I couldn’t get enough. The characters, the underlying plot, the suspense and plot twists. Each of the horsemen were different in their own way but all of them were possessive. And I love a possessive man. Omg they are just *chef’s kiss*.

10. Reign of a King by Rina Kent

Another banger! This book is about Jonathon, the father of Aiden from Deviant King, Steel Princess, and Twisted Kingdom. It’s great to finally get to know about the man who is looked at as a villain in the other books. Jonathon is such a dynamic character and I kept learning new things about him throughout the book. I can’t wait to read the second book to this duology.

Well, these were the 10 books I read in February. I think we can all agree that this was a Rina Kent month. I am pleasantly surprised to have found a new author that I can trust and know that I’ll be reading more of their books in their future.
