Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover was a solid book overall! I didn’t know that this book was only one of three, which kind of messes up my reading plan. I doesn’t matter though, all readers have learned to acclimate to new books and the changing rank of their TBR.

Personal Review
I loved the characters, they felt so real to me. The idea that love is more complicated than most people know was portrayed beautifully throughout the novel. I love the concept of the story and Ridge’s connection to music. This brings me to the intimacy between Ridge and Sydney. Their relationship was so intricate and, well, intimate. The physical closeness in some scenes was so well done. Also, the emotions poured out of this book. I was right there with the characters at every twist and turn.
Sometimes in life, we need a few bad days in order to keep the good ones in perspective. -Warren, pg. 282
Looking back, I’m shocked at how well Colleen Hoover used the same six to eight characters throughout the entire novel. There was never any boredom or sense of redundancy in the story. Every scene was unique and helped further the plot along.
I admit that there were some dry parts but that consists of about the first 15 to 20 percent of the book. But once I pushed through, it read over a hundred pages in one day. I couldn’t put the book down until I finished it. It was the kind of book that I just had to know what was going to happen next.
