The first time I did this “what’s in my head” kind of post, it was very interesting. There wasn’t anything revolutionary about it, but it was just interesting what came up. Quite thought-provoking I might say.

So let’s see where I get to this time.
Throne of Glass by Sara J. Maas. I have been reading Throne of Glass, the book, not the series entirely, on and off for over a year now. It’s so boring. I know the series picks up in the third book, Heir of Fire, so I’m pushing through. I have all the books in physical form, on my kindle and the first two in audiobook format, trying everything to push forth and audiobook is working best for me.
London. I came back from London a few weeks ago. I absolutely loved it; if I could move yesterday I would have. The environment, the people, just the ambiance was amazing. I’m still processing the trip while being back at work so I will have a blog post about the trip in a few weeks.
Work. I have been having a love-hate relationship with my job lately. My coworkers are great, I love them. They keep the work environment interesting. I don’t know if it’s called work dynamic, it’s for sure not work load. It’s the fact that it feels like no one understands the concept of time management.
I have the perfect example: there were a few days last week where I didn’t have much to do. I started asking around to see if there was anything I could help someone with. We’re a small company so it’s not weird going up to the CEO and COO and asking them if they need anything, which is exactly what I did.
The COO said she didn’t have anything for me. That was Thursday. Come Monday morning, she verbally gives me a list of tasks and reports to run and analyze.
And it’s not like the reports or analyzation of it is difficult. What was frustrating was that she could have told me that the week before and had more time to do it and check myself. But no, she told me to complete this for a big meeting she had in two days.
I feel like there should be some common curtesy for other people’s time.
Podcast. I’m still brewing ideas for this one. I’m thinking I’m going to lean towards seasons for it. Like have 12 episodes and then a break for six months and then another 12 episodes. It will give me enough time to record in between to have them all prerecorded.

Well, I guess that’s everything that’s in my head this time around. See you next time.
